Admission Eligibility


VCE Admission

1).  Minimum Qualification for admission to 1st Year, B.E course is:

a) Pass in Higher Secondary Examination - Board of Hr. Sec Examination / Vocational Govt of Tamil Nadu.    (or)

b) Senior School Certificate Examination (XII standard) of the Central Board of Secondary Examination.    (or)

c) Council for Indian School Certificate Examination candidates who have passed any Exam conducted by a State Govt or a University.    (or)

d) Board under the 10+2 pattern with not less than five subjects, of which Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is mandatory.

Diploma holders (various branches) are also eligible to IInd year (lateral entry) of the four years B.E

2).  The minimum requirements for Admission to B.E. Courses:

3).  Govt. school students can avail 7.5% seats on preferential basis and they are eligible for free education as directed by the Honourable CM’s announcement.

4). Government Scholarship: First graduate (FG), Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST (PMSS), Pragati (Girl candidates are eligible).

5).  Management Quota: Candidates those who are willing to apply/join in management quota are requested to visit the trust office / college and collect details regarding courses and fee structure.

6).  Required Documents (to be produced at the time of Admission)

  a.  Provisional allotment order.

  b. Community Certificate for BC/BCM/MBC/SC/ST & SCA candidates only (Permanent card or digitally signed e-Certificate).

  c.  Transfer / Conduct Certificate.

  d.  +2 & +1 / Equivalent Mark Sheets.

  e.  10th Mark Sheet.

  f.  First Graduate Tahsildar Certificate (if applicable).

  g.  First Graduate - Joint Declaration duly signed by Parent and Student (If applicable).
