ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Computer Science is an exciting, challenging and growing field that impacts the world and everyday life in countless ways. The department of Computer Science and Engineering has become one of the most strongest and dynamic department with the distinguished and committed faculty members. It is dedicated in imparting quality education through well-designed and periodically upgraded curriculum in tune with the challenging software needs of the industry. The department also focuses on giving hands-on industrial experience to the students by organizing and conducting various activities given by trained professionals from various firms right from third semester up until they get recruited by those firms. We also encourage various soft-kills like Database Analysts, Web Developers, Mobile Applications Developer, Software Testing, Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Architect, System Engineer and Information Technology Manager.

In our department of Computer Science and Engineering has a prominent faculty member, having rich experience in academics and industry. The department has fully fledged with several faculty members, who provide leadership and expertise in several areas of computer science and engineering. The department has conducted many Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) in areas of CSE, to encourage our students and faculty members to participate in the faculty development programmes conducted in the other prestigious institutions to enhance their knowledge and technical skills. It's been an extremely happy moment to mention that the faculty members and students of CSE department are involved in various innovations and research activities in on campus and off campus respectively.

Avenues of our department enhances the students' technical skill sets and as well as leadership skills' through knowledge shared from our faculty members. It emphasizes a collegial relationship between faculty members and students to develop both skills and concepts that are fundamental to the discipline today and in the near future.
